Design, build and management of online recruitment websiteThe RCN Bulletin Jobs website was set up to complement the Royal College of Nursing's printed 'Bulletin', a fortnightly publication carrying hundreds of jobs in nursing and related healthcare professions.
Users have the full array of 'usual suspects' in terms of website functionality: targeted job searches, email alerts, saving interesting posts to a job basket, online applications, CV upload, and send-to-a-friend for website.
Advertisers can post jobs to the site - if required for multiple employers - via individual login, and can choose to increase an individual job's visibility by upgrading its listing to 'Featured' or 'Premium' status. Employers themselves can register to search saved CVs, and their details can be added to the site's employer profile listings.
SIte administrators are able to manage both advertisers and employers, to track all job exposures and applications, and to control site search selections. In additon, they can make extractions from the user database in order to send targeted email notifications.
As the original site was designed and built in 2005, we're currently undertaking a substantial re-vamp. In addition to a substantially updated design, this face-lift also simplifies job searches across a range of specialities in order to streamline the user experience.
