
Website re-design and re-launch wins at national awardsWe were delighted to hear that Retail Human Resources were awarded first place in the Best National Recruitment Agency category at the 2009 National Online Recruitment Awards (NORA).
RHR themselves commented that the site is 'well designed and easy to use ... the culmination of many months of hard work'. But the website doesn't just satisfy in terms of design and usability - after launch RHR saw traffic grow by around 50%. SEO friendly features of the system from which the site runs include unique URLs for job vacancies, URL re-writing and page titles automatically generated to include the job details - thus helping target 'long tail' searches. And as with all our sites, it's built using best practice methods to be as appealing to search engine indexing as it is to human beings!
In addition to job search, online applications and 'job cart' for saving interesting positions, the site offers users the ability to sign up for jobs by email, to submit their CV and to keep up to date with retail news by regular email.
